Kelly Palma | CAMP DIRECTOR
Camp Director & Director of Volleyball Operations: Kelly joins the camp staff in her first year as the Camp Director. Throughout the fall season Palma served as a Data Volley Specialist, Volunteer Assistant Coach, and Assistant Director of Volleyball Operations for the UCF Women’s Volleyball team. Starting this summer she will be assuming the role of Director of Volleyball Operations along with her camp duties.
Palma comes to UCF with prior collegiate experience at Iona College as a Volunteer Assistant Coach and at Montclair State University as the Assistant Volleyball Coach. She helped to lead the Redhawks at MSU to their most wins in a single season in program history during the 2014 season. Palma also coached two athletes to All-Conference honors during that season. While at Montclair she earned her Master’s in Exercise Science with a concentration in Coaching and Sports Administration.
Kelly has four years of club coaching experience to add to her resume. Most recently she served as a head and an assistant coach at OTVA for the 15s and 14s teams, respectively. Previously, she coached 17s for two seasons at Chelsea Piers Athletic Club in Connecticut and 15s for one season at Digs in Northern New Jersey. Palma has coached and provided administrative support for various summer camps all over the northeast including at Lehigh University, Chelsea Piers Connecticut, Bob Bertucci Camps, and Under Armor Leadership Camp.
As a player, Palma was a three time Big East All-Academic Team member at Seton Hall University. She graduated with her BS in Biology while at SHU. Kelly also played for one season at University of Bridgeport as a graduate student. While there, she helped the Purple Knights to an ECAC Conference Championship and a number one seed to host the NCAA Tournament Regional Finals.
